Soil & Water: Grows best in well drained, fertile garden soil in a sheltered spot out of the wind. Feed regularly if grown in containers or baskets.
Planting & Growing:Start early indoors or outdoors when conditions allow. Sow 6" apart and cover 1/2" deep, keeping warm and moist. Provide a strong light source. Thin to 6" if fill in closely.
