Item Number: SEG120
Greenhouse Poly - Tufflite IR Infrared (20' Wide, sold by the foot)
Good Choice for Hot Regions
Price is by the foot. There is a 10' minimum, and after that, order in 5' increments only.
Please note: We can ship up to 40', folded, per flat rate shipping box. If you want to order more than 40 feet in one piece you must call for a shipping quote, as it will have to ship rolled on a core, via truck. Otherwise we will cut the plastic in increments of 40 feet or less (i.e. 80 feet will be cut into two 40 foot pieces, and 60 feet will be cut into one 40 foot and one 20 foot piece).
- Our 6 mil plastic film for greenhouses is designed specifically for inexpensive greenhouse use
- Slightly opaque Tufflite InfraRed Plastic reduces light transmittance and diffuses the light
- Good choice for hotter locations or when growing more heat sensitive plants like lettuces
- For shipping weight, figure 0.5 lb/linear foot
Not to be confused with construction grade poly which yellows quickly, reducing light to plants and deteriorating within only a few months. This material lasts 4 years against UV degradation.
Also available in a full 100 foot roll.
For a clear greenhouse poly, see the Tufflite IV Clear Plastic which provides light transmission comparable to glass, even when used in double layers.
Note: picture shows the 6 mil Clear Plastic.

We used this to do some repairs on an existing hoophouse. It was easy to work with, and seems to be very high quality. Would definitely purchase this again.
This is UV stabilized plastic and it is relatively thin. Beware of tearing and puncturing. With that being said, it is lightweight, easy to install and stretched, it is an easy and clean looking finished product. There are stronger plastic covers offered through Grow Organic, they are better but more expensive and difficult to install for the home gardener.
This plastic is great. Lasts a long time.
