Description
Description
Victor Mole & Gopher Repellent is a ten-pound bag of castor-oil granules for label-listed moles, gophers, voles, and armadillos in lawns and other permitted outdoor areas. The granules change the scent and taste of treated soil to encourage animals to leave rather than trapping or poisoning them. One bag treats up to 10,000 square feet when applied at the specified rate.
For an established problem, follow the manufacturer’s staged application method instead of treating the entire site randomly. Begin at one end of the affected area, spread granules uniformly, and water the treated zone for about 20 minutes. Over the following days, extend treatment across additional sections while rewatering earlier areas, creating a direction of travel away from the property. Soil type, irrigation, rainfall, and the size of the burrow system can affect results and retreatment timing. Do not place granules in food, feed, or water, and store the resealable bag away from children and animals.

Avoid treating the entire lawn in one application – this may cause moles to tunnel wildly in any direction to escape the repellent. Applying the granules over the lawn in stages will steadily herd moles away from the treated lawn area. Before applying the repellent, locate the active mole areas to determine which way to move the moles out of your yard.
After applying, water the product into the ground to activate the granules. This makes the ground smell and taste unpleasant, sending the unwanted pests scurrying to find a more welcoming place to live.

Spread a good amount the first day and watered. Next day I opened up the new mounds, reapplied and watered. So far it's working great! TY!
Easy to sprinkle a perimeter around the garden, did not use it inside the vegetable garden area. Seems to be helping. Also did a perimeter along the fence to hopefully keep the critters from migrating over from the vacant lot next door. Needs to be well watered in, directions recommend something like 20 minutes. So far so good!
