Have been using this for a few weeks now with great success. I’m doing it in two batches, two trays per cycle. This gives me a continuous supply of sprouts I get to harvest every two days, as most have a four day growth cycle. The one possible flaw I’ve found is that many of the smaller seeds (think alfalfa) get stuck in the holes that allow water to drop through. They don’t grow then and I have to manually push each one through with a tooth pick, prior to refilling those trays. I’m not sure how this could be avoided, but it adds a tedious step to the process. Regardless, I would recommend this product!

Beans, lentils and alfalfa sprouts grow quickly when watered several times a day. Switching the order of trays helps keep things growing at an even rate. Keeping the stack in a darkened place or covering with a clean towel to minimize light helps keep sprouts growing longer before the leaves emerge. Great to avoid having to repeatedly buy sprouts in plastic containers.

Just bought this to try to grow my own sprouts. Like that it comes with seeds to get you started. I used 2 trays to start and I'm watering 2 times a day, seeds started to sprout day 2. It's nice that you put water in top tray and it self waters all the rest of the trays.

Never grown my own sprouts, this kit is appealing because it doesn't take up much space in my small kitchen. Instructions are easy to understand. Started with the included Alfalfa seeds. Seeds started sprouting in about 2 days. Eating size is not far off! Excited to try all sorts of different varieties. Started all the trays at once, easy to rotate, easy to water, self contained, no messes yet.

This is a great sprouting system for ease of use and the ability to either have a variety of sprouts or, by starting a new tray every couple of days, you can have fresh sprouts all the time.Compact so doesn't take up too much counter space. Recommend!
