Fall Planted Berries

Collection: Berry Plants for Region-Appropriate Fall Planting

Berry plants offered for fall planting

Shop strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and other perennial berry plants in the current fall assortment. Fall planting may be appropriate when the selected crop and cultivar are hardy locally, the soil is workable and not saturated, and enough mild weather remains for root establishment.

Check crop, region, and plant form

Planting windows differ by crop, climate, and whether plants arrive dormant bare root or actively growing in containers. In regions with early freezes, or for crops normally planted in spring locally, fall planting may not be recommended. Inclusion in this collection does not guarantee suitability for every location.

Prepare for establishment

Prepare the site before delivery, plant promptly, water thoroughly, and maintain crop-appropriate moisture. Use local extension and product guidance for mulch, winter protection, spacing, and planting depth. Establishment and future harvests vary with timing, weather, site, and care.
