A fluttery, flower-filled dream of a plant and one of the easiest ways we know to give a garden that loose, romantic cottage-garden look. Agrostemma ‘Milas’ is all grace: tall, slender stems, silky rose-pink flowers, and that magical ability to catch the lightest breeze and seem to dance above the border. It has an airy elegance that softens everything around it, weaving beautifully through neighboring plants while still making its own unforgettable impression.

The 2-inch blooms are a brilliant satiny rose with a luminous white throat and the most delicate dark dotted lines radiating across the petals, like fine ink work on silk. Each flower feels both simple and extravagant, and when the plant is in full swing, it can produce a hundred or more blossoms on those upright, willowy stems. The effect is sheer abundance without heaviness—just clouds of color and motion floating at about 36 inches tall and 18 inches wide.

And as if all that weren’t enough, it is wonderfully easy to grow and often self-sows, which means one happy planting can turn into an even lovelier show down the road. In mild winter areas, especially USDA Zones 9 and 10, it can keep the bloom parade going for an impressively long season. Give it compost-amended soil and a sunny spot, and let it work its old-fashioned magic.

Guarantee

We guarantee the perishable items we sell to be in good, viable condition when we sell them. Perishable items include, but are not limited to, garlic bulbs, flower bulbs, seed potatoes, onion sets & transplants, potted or bare root trees, vegetable crowns, etc. If your perishable item arrives in substandard condition, take photographs and please contact us within 3 days of the purchase date (or delivery date) and we will provide you with a refund of the purchase price (excluding shipping costs), or a replacement. Accordingly, we urge you to open any boxes marked as ""Perishable"" immediately upon receiving them and inspect the shipment thoroughly (do not crack open heads of garlic, we do not accept claims on cracked garlic). Because some perishable items can deteriorate very quickly, we cannot accept any claims beyond the 3-day time frame as it becomes too difficult to determine if these items were delivered in substandard condition, or if they turned into such substandard condition because of having been improperly cared for or stored once delivered.
