Used this trefoil last year for food plots. Saw a lot more deer/turkey on the property this year. Highly recommend this company.
it is too early to tell you about how well my seeds came up. there is 6 inches of snow on the ground now . but I can tell you that I got the seeds very quickly and was satisfied with the whole ordering process. i will write again when seeds come up. thanks for your site it was a very good price on product I shopped around to get best seeds at good price this seemed to be the place.
Bird's foot trefoil tolerates our damp acid soil well. It competes well with weedy ranunculus (buttercup) and can be cut for mulch, compost, or forage. If we cut it back for mulch in spring it reblooms well into fall here in zone 7. Bees & other beneficial insects like the blossoms. The rabbits and slugs mostly leave it alone, unlike clovers. Supposedly has a tap root as well as running roots, so cycles nutrients well. Dies back in winter, which is a good time to weed the buttercups. We have it as an understory below our blueberries and are planting more under orchard trees. Also it can be mowed and walked on so is useful in an herbal lawn.
