Peaceful Valley Bloat Resistant Irrigated Pasture Mix - Nitrocoated Seed (lb)
Pasture Mix without the Bloat Problems
Peaceful Valley Bloat Resistant Irrigated Pasture Mix is a reliable forage solution for home-scale livestock producers and regenerative farmers seeking healthy, bloat-safe grazing systems. Specially formulated for irrigated pastures, this perennial mix contains non-bloating legumes like birdsfoot trefoil and bloat-resistant alfalfa, blended with persistent grasses that thrive under rotational grazing and moderate to high moisture conditions.
This mix performs best in full sun and fertile, well-drained soils. Nitrocoated seed technology enhances early germination and supports nitrogen-fixing legume establishment, improving soil fertility while reducing dependence on synthetic inputs. Once established, this mix promotes balanced nutrition for ruminants while supporting long-term soil structure and pasture productivity. Grazers benefit from extended forage availability, while the soil benefits from deep-rooted plants that enhance microbial life and reduce compaction.
Whether you’re reseeding a small pasture, starting a regenerative grazing program, or looking to reduce livestock bloat risk naturally, this seed mix offers long-lasting, multi-species coverage. For optimal results, drill or broadcast seed in early spring or late summer with appropriate irrigation, and manage grazing to avoid overuse during establishment.
