Fall-Planted Organic Yellow Finn Seed Potatoes (lb)
Buttery & Sweet
PLEASE READ BEFORE ORDERING
Seed potatoes cannot be allowed to freeze. Once frozen, the potatoes will be unviable for sprouting.
Potato orders placed from anywhere in the US by October 31 will ship as soon as they arrive (see ETA above). Orders can’t be cancelled once they’ve shipped.
From Nov 1st until Mid/Late Spring, we will ONLY ship potatoes to CA, OR, WA, NV and AZ. If you live outside of these 5 Western states, we cannot ship potatoes to you as they will otherwise invariably freeze during transit. While your specific state might be having decent weather, your order will travel through very cold regions from our CA location to yours. While you certainly can place your order, we will only ship it when the threat of freeze across the nation is over, which typically is in April or May.
Yellow Finn's buttery sweet flavor distinguishes it from any other potato. Produces excellent yields of flat, round, sometimes pear-shaped tubers. Performs best with a lush, long growing season. Moist, mashable texture and an excellent keeper. One of our favorites!
- 100+ days, late-season
- Excellent yields and good keeper
- Buttery sweet flavor
- Certified seed & certified organic
Planting Instructions:
- Fall-planted spuds produce outstanding yields by May. If your area experiences hard winters (USDA Zones 1–7), or you tend to have long, wet spring seasons when rot might be a problem, plant potatoes in the spring.
- One pound of seed potatoes will plant a row approximately 8' long with seed pieces spaced at 8 - 12" apart.
- Plan on 1,200 lb/acre (600 lb of fingerlings) when rows are spaced 36" apart with 12" between plants.
- Under optimal conditions, you can expect to harvest 10–15 pounds of potatoes for every pound of seed potato planted.

These potatoes arrived healthy. They grow great, my daughter eats them up, and I keep replanting over and over again!
I received my order of Yellow Finn Organic Potato seed potatoes quickly after ordering. The potatoes are in great shape, nice size, and healthy. I will be planting them soon!
Incredible sweet, buttery flavor, less bitter than other potatoes, waxy texture (not mealy, not hard)

from 9231 reviewsThe cute packaging caught my eye first. I love you can open it up sprinkle in the seeds you need to use, and then close it up for another time. It is compact and cute. I am eager to harvest my greens.
One of my favorites to grow…always get a good yield out of this one and the flavor is just…YUM!
I received these in August and they have braved the heat of the past 2 months. I have continued to water them to ensure they live. One tree looks much better than the other, although I see buds ready for next year on both. I can't wait for spring to see blooms, leaves and branches to begin.
huge bulbs made up of huge cloves; perfect quality for planting - very firm and paper in tact.
My order was prompt and just what I expected.
I purchased Elephant and Music garlic bulbs to plant in my zone 7 garden. They arrived as firm, healthy bulbs.
Heads were big with many large cloves. I am anticipating a great outcome in early summer 🧄
Our chickens love this forage.I was a little concerned growing this in south Florida however it is flourishing. Our new go to, thanks Peaceful Valley!
What a deal - top quality and only $20.99. Happy Frog is a premium brand.
I prepped my raised beds with Happy Frog Potting Soil. I love that it contains earthworms castings. Premium product!
Firm bulbs, excellent quality. I eagerly await the saffron harvest next Spring.
Lovely large bulbs, wonderful quality!
I planted a row of red chesnok. The color is stunning, excellent quality.
I just planted two rows of CA late white. Garlic bulbs look beautiful - great quality. Can't wait for harvest and for braiding time!
I have been ordering shallots from Grow Organic for a couple of years now. I had some problems with the shallots, I have to say they have the best customer service. I am a Master Gardener and have ordered 100's of different veggies seeds for years at many different companies as I buy seeds for the Master Garden's and never have experience such great customer service. I believe anything you buy from them you will be happy
