Dactylis glomerata Dryland perennial cover crop.
Similar to Berber, this perennial bunchgrass has good seedling vigor and has high seedling establishment on dry sites. Paiute Orchardgrass (Dactylis glomerata) is a drought-tolerant perennial bunchgrass ideal for forage and erosion control on dryland sites. With strong seedling vigor and broad soil adaptability, it establishes well in clay and loam. Performs best at higher elevations and under limited irrigation, reaching up to 5 feet when moisture is available.
- Application Rate: 15-20 lb/acre or 1-2 lb/1000 sq ft.
