Peaceful Valley Dryland Clover & Grass Mix (lb)

Peaceful Valley Dryland Clover and Grass Mix is a three-species annual blend designed to provide seasonal ground coverage, biomass, and plant diversity in dryland and lower-input growing areas.

• 35% Annual Ryegrass for quick ground coverage and fibrous root growth
• 35% Blando Brome for cool-season growth under seasonal rainfall
• 30% Crimson Clover NCO for legume diversity and potential nitrogen fixation

Use the mix in orchards, vineyards, field borders, fallow areas, and other sites where maintaining seasonal vegetation and protecting exposed soil are priorities. Mow or incorporate the stand before mature seed develops when using it as green manure.

• Seed treatment: The Crimson Clover component is Nitrocoated with compatible clover inoculant. The grass components are uncoated.
• Inoculant: No additional clover inoculant is needed for this mix as supplied.
• Estimated rainfall range: Approximately 15–30 inches of annual rainfall, or supplemental moisture through establishment
• Suggested application rate: Drill 25–35 lb per acre or broadcast 30–45 lb per acre.
• Suggested planting depth: ¼–½ inch in a firm seedbed with good seed-to-soil contact.
• Suggested planting season: Late summer through fall in mild-winter regions, or early spring where fall establishment is unreliable.

Rainfall and application figures are suggested starting points based on comparable annual-grass and crimson-clover mixtures. Adjust for seedbed, equipment, rainfall distribution, climate, and ground-cover goals.
