Soil and Water: Grow in light, deeply tilled soils with plenty of added organic matter. Add some sand to promote straight growth. Carrots like good drainage and a pH range of 6.0-6.6 with regular water. Keep seeds moist during germination. Apply a mulch layer once established to keep roots cool. Thin the carrots to 3" apart.

Planting and Growing: Direct seed 2 weeks before the last frost in 3 week successions. Carrots can be grown almost all year except in climates with extreme heat or freezing temperatures. Mix the small seeds with dry coffee grounds or sand to improve seed distribution.

Great variety to grow, definitely recommend.

These carrots were great to grow. Good germination, and they tasted amazing. Will buy again.

Sweet and tender

Got these seeds as a free gift and was very pleased to grow my very first carrot crop. They are very attractive and cook up sweet and tender. No comparison to the "orange carrots" I usually buy in the grocery store.
