Peaceful Valley Premium Lawn Seed Mix (5 lb)

Peaceful Valley Premium Lawn Seed Mix combines perennial ryegrasses, Kentucky bluegrasses, creeping red fescue, and Chewings fescue to produce a fine-textured, dark-green cool-season lawn. Perennial ryegrass supports comparatively rapid establishment, Kentucky bluegrass contributes spreading recovery, and fine fescues improve texture and performance in areas receiving some shade.

This blend is intended for manicured home lawns and similar maintained turf. Prepare a firm, weed-free seedbed, distribute seed in two directions for even coverage, rake or cover lightly, and keep the surface consistently moist through germination. Begin mowing when seedlings are tall enough that no more than one-third of the leaf blade must be removed. Regular fertilization, irrigation, and mowing requirements will depend on climate, soil, and the desired finish.

Not for pasture or grazing: Some turf grasses in this mix may contain naturally occurring endophytes that improve turf stress tolerance but can be harmful to livestock and horses. Do not plant where grazing animals can consume the grass.
