I just moved from California to Washington, and I was missing my veggie garden. I decided to try one of these large smart pots....I wanted to be able to bring it with me if I moved. It is awesome. I filled it with 11 bags of organic potting mix. It set up in less than 1/2 hour which included carrying 11 bags of soil to the bag from my car, opening them and then filling the pot. It was so incredibly easy. I had a 50' x 50' veggie garden in Sacramento area. This was a piece of cake. Absolutely easy for a beginner. I have a rather small car and 11 bags fit in my car no problem. In my area with this smart pot....the total cost was about $85. Have fun

I wanted a small, manageable garden....movable is necessary. It is the perfect size. I called customer service to get an idea of what I could plant. They were extremely helpful. So I ordered one. I needed 11 bags of potting soil. This is such an easy way to garden. You can move the bag if needed next season. I am planning on getting several more. BTW, I have an inground 2500 sq ft. veggie garden, but have moved. I missed my garden and this is definitely the next best thing!!!

This is a great idea for renters or anyone who wants a "semi permanent" raised bed. Easy to put up, just fill with about 1/2 yd of garden soil and plant! I planted peas, peppers, beans cucumbers, lettuce, arugula, it holds a lot! I also planted nasturtiums around the edges to cascade over the side.
