Square Folding Tomato Cage
Folds Flat for Easy Storage
The Square Folding Tomato Cage provides a freestanding framework for tomatoes and other upright or climbing garden plants. Its square format creates multiple sides for guiding branches, while hot-dipped galvanized iron construction is intended for repeated outdoor use. The cage folds flat between seasons to reduce storage space.
Place the cage over a young transplant or set it in position before vigorous growth makes installation difficult. Press the legs evenly into firm soil and orient the openings for convenient pruning, tying, and harvest access. As stems lengthen, guide them within the frame or secure selected branches with loose plant ties.
Use and Care
- Shape: Square folding cage
- Material: Hot-dipped galvanized iron
- Use: Tomatoes, cucumbers, and other supported crops
- Storage: Folds flat
Check stability after irrigation, wind, or heavy fruit set. Add a stake or anchor where loose soil or exposed conditions call for more support, and clean soil from the cage before folding it for storage.

In my climate, I can garden year round. I bought two of these cages just to observe the quality. After several months of cool weather, rain, and wind I am satisfied. They are sturdy and show no signs of rust. If I ever need to store them, it's nice that they fold flat. I will be buying more for the Spring garden.
