Description
Description
The Victorinox Budding and Grafting Knife is a right-handed folding tool for budding, crown grafting, and whip-and-tongue grafting. Its 2.25-inch straight stainless-steel blade includes a bark lifter along the back, then folds into a four-inch alloy-lined red nylon handle. The knife weighs approximately two ounces for convenient pocket or tool-pouch carry.
- Straight stainless-steel grafting blade
- Integrated bark-lifting surface
- Right-handed configuration
- Folding four-inch handle
Grafting knives are sharpened for precise cuts and require deliberate handling. Work on a stable surface, cut away from the body, and keep the free hand behind the blade. Do not twist the edge in hard wood or use it as a pry tool. Clean sap from the blade between plants, disinfect when disease transfer is a concern, and dry the knife before folding it closed. Maintain the bevel according to the manufacturer’s sharpening guidance and carry the tool only when the blade is fully seated in the handle.

I recently started grafting and this is a great knife! It's lightweight enough to make it easy to handle and is plenty sharp for making smooth, clean cuts. Highly recommended!
Whete is tried an true Felco victorinox knifes????
Victorinox (maker of the Swiss Army Knife) is a subsidiary of Felco.
Does the job beautifully. The only thing more I'd like would be a jump ring so I could tie it to myself.
The price was affordable and the knife works wonderful. I have been a grafter for years and this is my favorite knife.
a sharp, good priced knife
