Vigorous Tall White Clover for Pastures
Trifolium repens Perennial legume cover crop.
Has a larger leaf than Dutch or New Zealand. Fixes more N per acre. Best adapted to rotational pasture management.
- Application Rate: 0.5-1 lb/1000 sq ft or 12-18 lb/acre
- Inoculant: None needed, seed is nitrocoated
- Germination: 5-10 Days
- Plant Height: 12-18"
- Uses: Erosion control, green manure, cover crop, pastures (not suitable for horses)
- Facts to Note: Growing conditions required are about the same for New Zealand White Clover, except Ladino is more tolerant of poorly drained soil. Can be interplanted with perennial ryegrass, orchardgrass or tall fescue.
