- Inspect leaf undersides for orange-yellow egg clusters and remove them when practical.
- Hand-pick adults and larvae in small plantings.
- Rotate potatoes and related crops away from the previous season’s planting area when space permits.
- Use row covers only before beetles are present and remove them when crop access is required.
- Select a control product labeled for the crop and target pest.
