Works very well with the tree branch supports & blends in well with rest of landscaping
If the branch is really really heavy the bamboo tends to bend a bit, so ant alternative would be a metal tubing

Used these to support my shade cloth over my blackberries. They are very sturdy and held up very well over the summer.

Made a portable cage with the poles and left over deer fencing to keep the critters off of my plants! Worked like a charm.
