I heard chicory was a great grazing crop for goats so I bought some seeds. They look great and I can't wait to plant them!
Grows quickly, lots of biomass for composting, does well in my clay soil (Novato, CA). I trim it every few weeks, and it has kept producing new leaves during all seasons for nearly a year. It grows well in full sun and dappled shady area. It looks pretty too!
