Corona 26-inch Hi-Performance Orchard Loppers combine forged-steel bypass blades with lightweight elliptical aluminum handles. The replaceable, resharpenable dual-arc blade and slant-ground hook are designed for orchard pruning, while a deep sap groove helps move sticky residue away from the cutting surfaces. The manufacturer rates the loppers for branches up to 2.25 inches in diameter.

Use the shorter model where maneuverability matters, such as inside compact canopies or around closely spaced scaffold limbs. Match each cut to the stated capacity and keep the branch deep in the blade; twisting the handles can damage the edge or pivot. Keep hands clear of the cutting path and use a pruning saw for wood that is too large, dead, or difficult to position. Clean sap after use, lightly oil the pivot and blade, and inspect the fasteners before the next pruning session.
