Peaceful Valley Tree and Vine Cover Crop Mix combines New Zealand White Clover and Strawberry Clover to establish a low-growing living cover beneath orchards and vineyards. The two perennial legumes create a dense canopy without the height of many annual cover crops, helping protect exposed soil while leaving tree and vine rows manageable.

New Zealand White Clover spreads to fill open areas and competes with weeds, while Strawberry Clover contributes persistence and performs well in sites where moisture or drainage varies. Their roots help hold soil, support water infiltration, and add organic matter as roots and foliage renew. When well nodulated, both clovers can fix atmospheric nitrogen; the amount ultimately contributed to the soil depends on stand establishment, growing conditions, and how the cover is managed.

Sow into a firm, weed-controlled seedbed and maintain moisture during establishment. Once rooted, mow as needed to control height, encourage fresh growth, and keep the stand compatible with orchard or vineyard operations. The legume seed is supplied Nitrocoated with compatible Rhizobium bacteria, so no additional inoculant is required.
