I like to buy this budget soil mix and throw in some other seed types for a custom winter cover crop.

I have never planted a cover crop for wintering to till in the soil during the spring. My method was to let everything go dormant and dry up and then in the Spring rake it all together and burn it. I planted this product and it came up very fast with little effort. I was amazed at all of the mixture that is in the bag. Anxious to see how it does next Spring but so far I am very pleased with it!

The seeds came in good order. I did not have to play around with them and they have germinated well.

This product used with an inoculant has always done well for me in my garden in Ohio.
