This mix works amazing, great fall cover crop
Just make sure to store it in a mouse proof container, those little monsters ate 1/3 of it over the winter.
I have used this for many years now and it always does well. I can't say how much nitrogen it really adds but after I turn it it in, wait a few weeks and then plant vegetables I always have a good crop.
I have used this blend all over my new property this fall to add nutrients to the soil and keep the hillside in place during the rains. It is an outstanding, fast growing mix with no grasses. Creates lots of biomass for chop and drop or compost. Most importantly, some early planting tests shows my sloped garden is filled with worms and very pliable - and it remains on the hillside. I will never ued anything else.
Very reliable cold tolerant cover crop seed
I didn't read enough about this product. In a hurry! It is too late for me to plant the mix here in Maine. AND I forgot to order the inoculant. I am going to save the seed and hopefully it will germinate for next early Sept. I won't forget to get the inoculant. Too early to order it now as it has a shelf life of about a year which usually means out of date in Dec. 2018.

I bought these seeds to go in bundles of packets of vegetable seeds that I will put in the Blessing Box at a church here in town about late January so people who need to can supplement the groceries they buy with a garden. I'm sure they will love them. If my budget stretches that far, I will get some for myself and let you know how I like them. I still have eight bundles worth of packets of seeds to purchase for them first, though.
Appreciate that you have this in bulk quantities. We use this as a rooting hormone and as a potting mix and soil supplement. Kelp meal is rich in minerals and micro-nutrients and contains growth hormones that support healthy root growth.
Helps me keep the ants down on my property. Place outside and keeps ants down even in your house.
I grow flats of this for my pet pigs, because of the high nutritional content. They love it. I find them waiting at the growing location every afternoon waiting for their fave. I've grown beautiful flats of pea sprouts and alfalfa for them too, but they turn up their snouts and walk away.
Top notch fertilizer and great store
