Peaceful Valley High Biomass Mix for Annuals is a made-to-order blend for fields and garden areas where producing a large volume of cool-season plant material is the primary objective. Faba Beans, Biomaster Peas, vetch, and oats combine upright, trailing, broadleaf, and grassy growth in one stand, helping the mix occupy more above- and below-ground space than a single species.

The legumes contribute nitrogen-rich foliage and larger roots, while oats establish quickly, add fibrous roots, and provide an upright framework for the peas and vetch. This balance supports weed competition, erosion protection, and a mixture of softer legume residue with more carbon-rich cereal material. When incorporated or left as surface mulch, that varied biomass can support a longer soil-building process than a uniform stand.

This is a custom raw-seed blend. Treat it with the appropriate inoculant immediately before planting so the legumes can form effective nodules. Plan termination before seeding because a high-biomass stand can become difficult to handle if allowed to grow overly mature. Mow or incorporate before viable seed develops and while stems remain manageable. Earlier termination speeds decomposition; later termination creates more total residue but may require additional time before the following annual crop is planted.
