Eva's Pride Peach Tree is a beloved cultivar among fruit enthusiasts and orchard owners alike. With its stunning appearance, delectable taste, and unique characteristics, it stands out as an exceptional choice for any fruit tree collection.
The Look of Eva's Pride Peach
Eva's Pride Peach Tree produces a visually appealing fruit that captivates both growers and consumers. The peaches are medium-sized, with a rounded shape that is slightly flattened at the top and bottom. Their skin is smooth, boasting a beautiful combination of yellow and red hues. The red blush on the fruit's skin adds a touch of elegance, making it an eye-catching addition to any orchard.
What sets Eva's Pride Peach apart is its lush, green foliage that provides a striking backdrop to the vibrant fruit. The tree itself is deciduous and has a moderately vigorous growth habit. During the spring, it showcases fragrant, pink blossoms that add to its aesthetic appeal. The combination of the fruit's color and the tree's overall appearance makes Eva's Pride Peach Tree a stand-out choice for both ornamental and practical purposes.
The Taste of Eva's Pride Peach
While the appearance of Eva's Pride Peach is undeniably captivating, it is the fruit's exceptional taste that truly sets it apart. The peaches from this tree are renowned for their juicy, sweet, and aromatic flesh. When fully ripe, they offer a perfect balance of sugar and acidity, creating a delightful flavor that tingles the taste buds.
The flesh of Eva's Pride Peaches is meltingly soft, making them a joy to eat fresh off the tree or in various culinary applications. Their superior taste profile makes them ideal for eating fresh, but they are also excellent for use in pies, cobblers, jams, and preserves. Furthermore, their high sugar content makes them suitable for canning, allowing you to enjoy the delightful taste of Eva's Pride Peaches throughout the year.
Distinguishing Characteristics Compared to Other Fruit Trees
Eva's Pride Peach Tree possesses several distinguishing characteristics that make it a valuable addition to any orchard. These unique features set it apart from other fruit trees, making it a preferred choice for many growers:
Self-Pollinating: Eva's Pride Peach is a self-pollinating tree, meaning that it does not require another peach tree for cross-pollination. This makes it an excellent choice for small gardens or orchards with limited space.
Disease Resistance: This cultivar is known for its resistance to common peach tree diseases, such as peach leaf curl and brown rot. This resilience reduces the need for chemical treatments and makes it a more sustainable choice for growers.
Early Harvest: Eva's Pride Peach ripens earlier in the summer season than many other peach varieties. This early harvest time allows growers to enjoy fresh peaches ahead of the usual peach season.
Cold Hardy: The tree exhibits a degree of cold hardiness, making it suitable for planting in regions with cooler climates where peach cultivation may be challenging with other varieties.
Eva's Pride Peach Tree is a remarkable addition to any orchard, combining an alluring appearance, exceptional taste, and unique characteristics. Whether you are a seasoned fruit grower or an amateur gardener, this cultivar offers numerous benefits that make it worth considering for your orchard. Its self-pollinating nature, disease resistance, early harvest, and cold hardiness make it a versatile choice that can thrive in various settings. An extremely vigorous tree that requires regular pruning and thinning. Needs fertile, well drained soils. Tends to bloom early and may be difficult to crop in late frost areas. Plant several varieties for continued supply, as ripe fruit does not store well. Susceptible to peach leaf curl, brown rot, oriental fruit moth and peach twig borer. Harvest 1st year. Browse all our peach trees for sale.
About Citation Rootstock: Citation Rootstock is tolerant of wet soil, induces early dormancy in dry soil, is very winter hardy, resists root knot nematodes, and produces a 12'-18' tree. By pruning you can keep your tree at any height.

We guarantee that your dormant tree or plant will arrive in good, viable condition. If your tree arrives in substandard condition, notify us within 3 days of delivery. Please email pictures of the box, inside packaging, the tree and its roots to helpdesk@groworganic.com. We will investigate your claim and process a request to exchange or refund the damaged product.
If your dormant tree or plant has not grown new leaves by June 15th, you may be eligible for our Limited Dormant Tree & Plant Guarantee. This guarantee provides for a store credit for the purchase price of the tree, excluding shipping. Please see the Instructions below.
Important Dates:
- April 1st Dormant trees/plants must be planted in the ground
- May 15th Perform scratch test, if no new leaves have grown
- June 15th Deadline to apply for a dormant tree/plant credit
All required documentation must be received by June 15th for your claim to be considered. Claims or documentation received after June 15th will be denied, without exception. Instructions listed below
Terms and Conditions
We cannot guarantee that your tree or plant will remain alive and healthy after it is received, or bear fruit as there are too many variables in your environment that are beyond our control (i.e. soil preparation, weed and pest control, proper irrigation, chill hours, compatible hardiness for your growing zone, proper choice of pollinator, extreme weather, rodent damage, disease, etc.).
We cannot guarantee that we will be able to provide a replacement tree/plant of the same species either that same growing season or in future years. Customers are responsible for all shipping fees associated with replacement trees and plants.
If we determine that the tree you purchased directly from us is not viable, we will issue you a store credit (not a refund) for the purchase price of the affected dormant tree or plant. Shipping is not included in the dormant tree/plant guarantee. Store credits can be used to purchase any product we sell and are valid for use only until July 1st of the following year.
Historically, 98% of our dormant trees and plants grow and thrive when they have been cared for and planted using our growing guides. Dormant trees and plants must be planted in the ground by April 1st in order to be eligible for credit. If the ground in your area is still frozen solid, you may temporarily plant your tree or plant in a pot.
Potted, non-dormant trees or plants are excluded from this guarantee as they are not dormant at the time of shipment. Evergreen trees such as citrus, avocado and olive trees are not available for credit under the Dormant Tree and Plant Guarantee.
Instructions
We guarantee that your dormant fruit tree or plant will leaf out, if you care for it according to our growing guides. In the unlikely event that your dormant tree or plant does not have leaves by May 15th, follow these simple steps to apply for a store credit:
Before you call or email, please perform a “scratch test” to determine if the tree or plant is still alive. This video shows how to check for live tissue under the bark. Scratch tests need to be done a few inches above and below the graft.
Green Cambium Layer / Living Trees
If the cambium layer under the bark is green, give your tree a little more time. It is still alive, but hasn’t come out of dormancy yet. Check to make sure that it is getting the right amount of deep root water, enough sunlight and that the weather is warm enough for that type of tree/plant to come out of dormancy. Every tree has its own personality and will come out of dormancy at different times. Be sure to submit the required documentation listed below by June 15th, if it doesn’t grow leaves.
Brown Cambium Layer / Dead Trees
If the scratch test shows a brown cambium layer or if your dormant tree/plant doesn’t have leaves by June 1st, please email us at helpdesk@groworganic.com. All required documentation listed below must be received by June 15th for your claim to be considered. To be considered for the guarantee claim, all required documentation must be received by June 15th. Incomplete submissions will be denied.
Required Documentation
- Order number
- Name of dormant tree/plant and the quantity affected
- Photos of each tree or plant showing:
- The roots (tree or plant must be pulled out of the ground)
- The scratch test areas
- The entire tree/plant
We reserve the right to not issue credit for items that have already been replaced. We also reserve the right to require photographic evidence that the tree/plant was not killed by root rot, rodent or mechanical damage.

This peach tree is my favorite of all the fruit trees I’ve ever grown! The fruit is just amazing, and it bears heavily year after year (it’s about 10 years old now.) .If there is a downside, it’s the maintenance- in coastal SoCal it requires a yearly copper application to keep the peach leaf curl down, it’s a clingstone type so a pain to get the fruit off the pit, and I have to heavily thin the fruit to avoid broken branches and large crops of tiny peaches. But with that said, it has been very forgiving of my sporadic watering and nearly nonexistent fertilizing. And seriously I can thin 9/10 of the fruit off this tree, and my family of 3 still gives a lot away to the neighbors! But really it stands out for the flavor- these are the absolute best tasting peaches; think the best farmers market peach you’ve ever gotten, with a rich peach flavor, very sweet and juicy with just enough tartness to balance the sweetness out. My mouth is watering just writing about them.
My Eva’s Pride arrived in March and in excellent condition. As always packaging was done well and moist medium. I ordered 2- Eva’s Pride, 3 May Pride, and Mariposa plum. All in excellent condition. It’s May and one Eva’s Pride still has not budded out. The other is got great new growth and so beautiful. The trunks of both trees are bigger than I would have imagined. The May Pride and plum tree have budded and look amazing.
I purchased an EVA's PRIDE and a MID-PRIDE peach this past December, and both of them have just taken off like a shot!
I'll be honest here; between heavy clay soil that runs a bit more alkali than most fruit might prefer, and a past-precedent of fruit trees being slow growing when we've planted said trees in-ground rather than within raised-beds/boxes, I'd limited my expectations. Clearly, I had my concerns. However! With about 30% Compost mixed in, a small handful of Cotton-Seed-Meal, a bit of mulch and some crossed fingers - - apparently, that's all these trees needed!
In just the past 5 months since planting, they have out-grown the two nectarine trees I'd planted A WHOLE YEAR before! They got the tiniest bit of Peach Leaf Curl (nowhere near as bad as the aforementioned Nectarines did though!), but a 1/5 Hydrogen Peroxide spray after the rain was all it took! No Copper or Neem needed so far!
Living in such a Low-Chill-Hour zone and loving stone-fruits can be an uphill struggle, but the EVA's PRIDE PEACH impressed the heck out of me so far! I wish they'd let people post pictures - it's BOAST-worthy!
Received 3 apple trees (gala, golden doesette and Anna) 2 cherry and 2Asian pear. Follies the "how-to " videos and now they are budding out. I am so pleased with
1: the ordering experience is simple and I felt well informed.
2: my bare root trees arrived at the time specified and I received 3 updates. 1 for estimated shipping, 1 for actual shipping with arrival date and 1 when it was delivered to my door ensuring my trees would not sit outside.
3. The bare root trees were in perfect condition upon arrival. They have all budded out and look healthy. I look forward to years of enjoyment!
I was so pleased with the quality that I ordered 2 more bare root trees! Eva's Pride peaches, which arrived in the same manner as My other orders.
I have been waiting all year to purchase this lovely tree. I live in central Florida and was hoping to find a peach tree that would meet the right chill hours. I was very happy to find it here! It was packaged very well in a big sturdy box. My husband and I planted the tree right away, careful to follow the video instructions. I am impressed by how symmetrical the tree is. It was trimmed perfectly on all sides. After about a week from planting I saw many of the tiny buds turn pink. Now it has three beautiful baby pink blooms and I'm seeing the start of green leaves as well. Even a honey bee came to see our new tree! I'm hoping by next summer we can enjoy some delicious fruit, too! Thanks GrowOrganic!

from 9203 reviewsI grow this in old litter boxes for a bunny & Guinea pig rescue- it is a great treat! Grows fast, thick and moist. I also grow it in my catio for my cats
High quality saffron corms that shipped when they said they would. They started sprouting in my cabinet within a week so definitely plant them quickly after receiving.
They looked good when the plants arrived. Waiting for planters to transplant so they'll have more room, but not planting in the garden to avoid the mint from spreading all over. They're still alive....
Beautiful seed garlic
This tree takes a lot of patience, both in years to fully fruit out and in terms of how late in the season the peaches finally ripen, - the end of September here in zone 5b, - but boy are they amazing when they come in! I have two other peach trees, - Redhaven and Reliance, which have wonderful fruit, but these Indian Free White peaches are amazing. The aroma alone is incredible. These also have thicker skins, more "fuzz," which you can rub off, and are a bit on the acidic side, but OH so yummy! I have gotten raves from the farmers who tried them.
Been using this for last couple growing season. Works wonders for the garden.
This hose gets dragged over bark and around raised garden beds, and also over concrete and a weedy hillside to water a couple trees. So far it has performed well and there aren't any leaks or kinks!
I have not had a chance to plant these yet as it’s still a little early. Package came quickly and garlic was beautiful, can’t wait to plant it.
This is a great addition to my veg garden area!
These branch supports work well, are sturdy, and relatively cheap. While you do have to provide your own poles, you can buy wooden or metal ones of your needed length at hardware or home improvement stores. We ordered ten at first and then bought ten more after seeing how the first ones worked.
Of course I wanted a hand made wooden trug, but they are expensive! This plastic one is easy to clean, and the perfect size. I love the drainage holes.
No lightweight nonsense here! These are the one of the industry standards in tree pots and they have become our go to on the tree farm. You will find lightweight look-a-likes out there, but most only serve one time use. These have held up for years and been used multiple times in some cases.
This has become one of my new favorites for all around propagation. From seeds to cuttings we use this mix for our fig trees and have had unbelievable success. The mix is formulated for strong and fast root development. No complaints about it!
These trays are great. Everything is ready to go.
I use them for cuttings and seed starting and haven't been disappointed yet.
I had the frustration of having my dog dig up my citrus trees and figs out of their containers. I was furious. This granular repellent has stopped the dog completely. So now, the dog can stay.
