Collection: Culinary & Medicinal Organic Herb Seeds
Herb Seeds
Growing herbs from seed is a satisfying and economical way to add variety to your garden. With just a few seeds, you can create an entire herb bed full of different flavors and scents. While there are many types of herb seeds available, some of the most popular include basil, oregano, and rosemary. Each type of seed has its own unique flavor that can be used to enhance the taste of food. For example, basil seeds have a sweet, licorice-like flavor that is perfect for pesto or other Italian dishes. Oregano seeds have a sharp, peppery flavor that goes well with tomato sauces and grilled meats. Rosemary seeds have a woodsy, pine-like flavor that works well in poultry seasoning and other savory dishes. When grown from seed, herbs can provide a wealth of flavor to your cooking.

Growing Herb Seeds
Herb seeds are easy to grow. Most herbs need full sun and well-drained soil in order to thrive. Once you've prepared your planting area, you'll need to sow the seeds thinly and cover them lightly with soil. Water the area gently, being careful not to wash the seeds away. Then, keep the soil moist but not soggy until the seeds have germinated. Once the seedlings have appear, you can thin them out so that they are spaced about a foot apart. With a little care and patience, you'll soon be harvesting your own fresh herbs.
