A temperamental plant, sensitive to under watering or under fertilization. Side dress with compost in mid-season. Use row cover early on to block cabbage family pests.

Harvesting and Storage: Cut heads when they are fully developed. The plant will not re-sprout new heads. Eat raw or lightly cooked for best flavor and color.

First time growing

This will be my 1st time growing this particular variety of broccoli and I am super excited. Last year I was able to grow the normal variety of broccoli and when I came across this on peaceful Valley's website I waz very intrigued. I planted indoor seeds on February 14th and 7 days later I have sprouted Beautiful seedlings that will be ready for the dirt in no time.
