Deploy traps before planting and throughout the growing season. Put a lure on the sticky floor of a trap. Hang the trap a few feet away from the plants, about 4 ft. (1.3 m) high. Check it weekly: the appearance of the pest in a trap may indicate an infestation is underway or about to begin. Continue use of this Kit to monitor the effectiveness of the treatment strategy and to trap as many adults as possible.

I’ve used this product for a couple years now. I got some orphan citrus trees that had leaf miner. One tree is completely leaf miner free now and is bearing lots of fruit. I’m still working on the other one, but I feel if I continue to use the traps, I’ll be able to get rid of it. I use this as directed from May to November and it seems like a very safe alternative to a poison. Since I’m eating the fruit, I am very interested in the safe method.
