Traps should be set out from bloom to harvest. Since apple season is long and codling moths have 3-5 flights, depending on the weather, you will need to replace 3-4 times per season, for fall-harvested apples.
Use 1 trap per 1-5 acres for monitoring (3 minimum), or 1-2 per tree for mass-trapping.
