Wilco Ground Squirrel Bait (4 lb)
Bait for Getting Rid of Ground Squirrels
Wilco Ground Squirrel Bait 4 lb is a highly effective, pelletized squirrel bait specifically designed to mimic a ground squirrel’s natural food source—encouraging them to eat it, not store it. This ground squirrel bait by Wilco contains Diphacinone (0.005%), a first-generation anticoagulant rodenticide that works through consistent feeding.
To achieve control, squirrels must consume the squirrel poison for 3 to 4 consecutive days. This formula is widely trusted as one of the best ground squirrel bait options on the market due to its palatability and proven effectiveness. The 4 lb container provides ample coverage for larger infestations or extended use.

We have been inundated with squirrels this year and have used this product in the past. It does work and our squirrel population has slowly been eliminated. Will definitely purchase again.
ON the label it says: "This product is extremely toxic to mammals and birds. Dogs, cats and other
predatory and scavenging mammals and birds might be poisoned if they feed
upon animals that have eaten this bait. Do not apply directly to water, or to areas
where surface water is present or to intertidal areas bellow the mean high water
mark. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment wash water or
rinsate"
FORGET 'might be poisoned'....and know that Dogs, cats and other
predatory and scavenging mammals and birds WILL BE POISONED if they feed
upon animals that have eaten this bait.!!! It even gets into our environment and water...IT's long term effects are SICKENING to consider. Please go find a more humane way! : PLEASE
Man you guys that say oh there so cute etc. must not have had an invasion of ground squirrels where they destroy your stuff. They actually burrowed under & inside my garage & pretty much destroyed the ground before i could get it concreted. I also found one inside my bass baot that sits in the garage & they chewed the wiring up for the lights. Get a life & go somewhere besides a bait/ pesticide website to whine.
It makes me sick that something like this even exists. Animals are so important and have just as much right to "our" spaces as we do... if not more so. Those tunnels are their homes. I doubt you'd want someone to poison you so you'd die and vacate your home. Despicable.
It seems to be working well. The squirrels are eating the bait and I am not seeing any new entrances to their tunnels.
