Wilco Ground Squirrel Bait (4 lb)

Wilco Ground Squirrel Bait (4 lb)

Bait for Getting Rid of Ground Squirrels

Highly palatable to ground squirrels, Wilco Ground Squirrel Bait is pelletized to mimic their natural food source and encourage them to eat the bait, not to store it. The ground squirrel(s) must eat the bait 3 to 4 days in a row. Active Ingredient: Diphacionone -- .005% (anti-coagulant).

Diphacionone has a moderate risk of secondary poisoning of birds and a high risk of secondary poisoning to mammals. Know the natural predators in your area and choose your ground squirrel control strategy accordingly. This bait requires placement in a tamper resistant bait station, like the PAB405.

  • Highly palatable to ground squirrels
  • Encourages consumption not storage
  • Feed 3-4 days for results
  • Diphacionone anti-coagulant
  • Deploy in tamper resistant bait station
  • Moderate secondary poisoning risk for birds of prey
  • High secondary poisoning risk for mammalian predators, however 98% of the time the squirrels will die underground.

Poisonous for ALL animals and pets!!

ON the label it says: "This product is extremely toxic to mammals and birds. Dogs, cats and other
predatory and scavenging mammals and birds might be poisoned if they feed
upon animals that have eaten this bait. Do not apply directly to water, or to areas
where surface water is present or to intertidal areas bellow the mean high water
mark. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment wash water or
    rinsate"
FORGET 'might be poisoned'....and know that Dogs, cats and other
predatory and scavenging mammals and birds WILL BE POISONED if they feed
upon animals that have eaten this bait.!!! It even gets into our environment and water...IT's long term effects are SICKENING to consider. Please go find a more humane way! : PLEASE

    Good deadly stuff. lol

Man you guys that say oh there so cute etc. must not have had an invasion of ground squirrels where they destroy your stuff. They actually burrowed under & inside my garage & pretty much destroyed the ground before i could get it concreted. I also found one inside my bass baot that sits in the garage & they chewed the wiring up for the lights. Get a life & go somewhere besides a bait/ pesticide website to whine.

    Just Why?
    Despicable.

It makes me sick that something like this even exists. Animals are so important and have just as much right to "our" spaces as we do... if not more so. Those tunnels are their homes. I doubt you'd want someone to poison you so you'd die and vacate your home. Despicable.

    Work well

It seems to be working well. The squirrels are eating the bait and I am not seeing any new entrances to their tunnels.

    Hateful

Why on Earth would anyone want to poison one of God's creatures? This is absolutely sick and should be against the law. Squirrels are one of the most adorable creatures God ever created and they have a right to eat too. If you don't want them eating your garden put some nuts or fruit out for them and distract them don't kill them it's evil
